This section describes the commands you use to add, manage, and delete system users. Unified Switch software has two
default users: admin and guest. The admin user can view and configure system settings, and the guest user can view
settings.
Note: You cannot delete the admin user. There is only one user allowed with read/write privileges. You can
configure up to five read-only users on the system.
users name
This command adds a new user account, if space permits. The account <username> can be up to eight characters in length.
You can use alphanumeric characters as well as the dash (-) and underscore (_). You can define up to six user names.
Note: The <username> is not case sensitive when you add and delete users, and when the user logs in.
However, when you use the <username> to set the user password, authentication, or encryption, you must enter
the <username> in the same case you used when you added the user. To see the case of the <username>,
enter the show users command.

This command removes a user account.

Note: You cannot delete the "admin" user account.
users name unlock
Use this command to unlock a locked user account. Only a user with read/write access can re-activate a locked user
account.
