Usage Information When you enter no fefd for an interface and fefd-global, FEFD is enabled on the
interface because the no fefd command is not retained in the configuration file. To
keep the interface FEFD disabled when the global configuration changes, use the fefd
reset command.

— enables FEFD globally on the system.
fefd mode
— changes FEFD mode on an interface.
Enter a number as the time between FEFD control packets. The
range is from 3 to 255 seconds. The default is 15 seconds.
