5.9 Display Functions of Sub-display

Call Indicator

Call Indicator can be used to light or blink "CAL" on the sub-display when the transceiver receives a call. This function can
be used in noisy environments or while a user is away from the transceiver.
This function can be used only in an LTR Trunking system.
How the transceiver behaves varies between the case when the transceiver receives a Group ID and the case when the
transceiver receives a Fix ID.
Received ID
The transceiver notifies a user by blinking "CAL" on the sub-display indicating that the transceiver received a
call. The "CAL" icon keeps blinking on the sub-display even if the call is finished.
Group ID
The blinking "CAL" icon will light if the transceiver receives a call with a Fix ID having a high priority level.
"CAL" disappears by pressing a key.
The transceiver notifies a user by lighting "CAL" on the sub-display indicating that the transceiver has
received a call. The "CAL" icon remains lit on the sub-display even if the call is finished.
The "CAL" remains lit even if the transceiver receives a call having a Group ID.
Fix ID
"CAL" disappears by pressing a key. However, the following keys are excluded:
Backlight key
Function key
Note
"CAL" does not disappear even if the transceiver receives another Group ID or a Group ID for which Call Indicator is configured after
"CAL" has been lit or is blinking.
