DATA COMMUNICATION FUNCTIONS
Data communications are available for the transceiver by using the various functions of FleetSync or NXDN, or using an
external device connected to the transceiver.

Dedicated Channels or GIDs for Data Communications
A channel or GID can be used as a dedicated channel or GID for data communications. On a dedicated channel or GID for
data communications, received audio is muted.
Analog Conventional system and LTR Trunking system
To use a channel or GID as a dedicated channel or GID for data communications, Data needs to be enabled on each
channel or GID.
Also, by configuring Data Zone-CH/GID, the transceiver can migrates to a Data Zone-CH/GID to send various types of
messages or data. (Refer to

A channel configured for Data Zone-CH/GID can be used as a dedicated channel for data communications. The

Note
This function can be used only in a Conventional Group and LTR Trunking system.
