Confirming Whether the Transceiver Is Available for
Communications (Radio Check)
Radio Check is the function that is used to confirm whether the transceiver is available for communications.
The transceiver sends an acknowledgment to the system if the transceiver receives a Radio Check command in the MDC-
1200 format sent from the system and the received ID matches the ID preconfigured for the transceiver. The system can
determine whether or not the transceiver is available for communications by receiving this acknowledgment.
Transceiver Behavior

The transceiver receives a Radio Check command.
The transceiver sends an acknowledgment if the received ID
matches the ID preconfigured for the transceiver.

The transceiver completes sending an
acknowledgment.
 If an Acknowledgment cannot be sent in an LTR Trunking
system:
Following indication appears after the transceiver has sent an
acknowledgment if the transceiver cannot receive Echoback
from the repeater and cannot send the acknowledgment.
