14.1 Method of Sending the DTMF Code
Operating the Transceiver
 Using the keypad

Press the Autodial
The transceiver enters Autodial Mode and the DTMF code can be
entered.
The following operations are identical even if the transceiver
enters Autodial Mode by a user pressing the Menu key or with
keypad entry.

Enter using the keypad the DTMF code to be sent.
Refer to Entering or Deleting a Code on page 48
methods.
Note
• To enter the DTMF "A" code, press and hold the [*] key and then press the [2] key.
• To enter the DTMF "B" code, press and hold the [*] key and then press the [5] key.
• To enter the DTMF QQC" code, press and hold the [*] key and then press the [8] key.
• To enter the DTMF "D" code, press and hold the [*] key and then press the [0] key.
• To enter the DTMF "*" code, press the [*] key twice.
• To enter the DTMF "#" code, press the [*] key and then press the [#] key.
• While * and # key-entry Pattern is disabled, pressing the [*] or [#] key directly enters the "*" or "#" tone. In this case, the
above operations are unavailable.
