14 DTMF
14.1 Method of Sending the DTMF Code

Repeat Step 2 as necessary.

Select one of the following operations.
• To send the DTMF code and initiate voice calls, the PTT switch
needs to be pressed.
• To send only the DTMF code, the Side 2 key (NX-200/ NX-210/
NX-300/ NX-410/ NX-411) or the Square key (Mobile) needs to
be pressed.
The transceiver sends the DTMF code.
 Without using the keypad

Press the Autodial
The transceiver enters Autodial Mode and the DTMF code can be
entered.
The following operations are identical even if the transceiver
enters Autodial Mode by a user pressing the Menu key.

Press the Up or Down
to enter the DTMF code to be sent.
Characters are entered from the right end, and the character
being entered blinks. Refer to
page 48 for entry methods.
