6.7 Adjusting Audio Characteristics (NXDN System only)

Audio Equalizer (RX Audio Response)

Audio Equalizer is the function to adjust audio characteristics to be applied to play the received audio.
The received audio may sound differently depending on an usage environment of the transceiver and whether to use a
speaker or headphones to play the received audio. Also, the received audio may sound differently depending on the effect
of a microphone equipped with the transmitting transceiver and external connector devices. Use of this function allows a
user to select according to user convenience or preference an audio characteristic of the received audio sounding from the
speaker.
Audio Equalizer
Flat
This is a standard audio characteristic.
This audio characteristic emphasizes the received audio range which is higher than Flat. The quality of the
High Boost
received audio will be clear with the focus on hearing conversations for certain.
This audio characteristic minimizes the received audio range which is higher than Flat and emphasizes the
Low Boost
low range. The quality of the received audio will be natural.
Note
The transceiver enters RX Audio Equalizer Mode by a user pressing the Menu key to enter Menu Mode and then selecting "RX Audio
Equalizer". In RX Audio Equalizer Mode, the configuration for Audio Equalizer (RX Audio Response) can be changed.
