11 LTR TRUNKING SYSTEM
11.2 Using the Optional Signaling (LTR)
Temporarily Disabling the Signaling (Monitor)
Monitor can be used to unmute the speaker and place the transceiver into the standby state.
Monitor is used to check the availability of channels prior to transmitting in order to prevent from interfering with other
parties.
To use this function, the Monitor key or the Monitor Momentary key must be used.
Or, pressing the Menu key causes the transceiver to enter Menu Mode, and then Monitor can be toggled between enabled
and disabled by selecting the "Monitor". (Refer to

" icon appears. For NX-200S/ NX-300S, Key Beep A
sounds from the transceiver.
The transceiver disables Optional Signaling and unmutes the
speaker upon matching of the LTR ID.
