Adjusting Audio Characteristics (NXDN System only)
Audio is the function to adjust the audio quality according to the operating environment.
Depending on the configuration for Function Type, the audio function used for adjusting the audio quality varies as below.
Function Type
The combination of configurations for each function can customize the audio characteristic according to a
user's operating environment and adjust the audio characteristic of the external microphone connected to
the transceiver so that the audio characteristic can be optimal.
• External Microphone Type
• Auto Gain Control (RX Audio Response)
Enhanced
• Audio Equalizer (RX Audio Response)
• Auto Gain Control (TX Audio Response)
• Audio Equalizer (TX Audio Response)
• Low Cut
• Noise Suppressor
Depending on the combination of configurations for each function, the audio characteristic can be the same
as that for transceivers having firmware version 1.23.00 to 2.04.00.
Standard
• Low Cut
• Noise Suppressor
• Audio Filter
Note
If "Enhanced" is configured for Function Type and following functions are assigned to Menu Mode, the configuration for each function
can be changed by pressing a key of the transceiver. If "Standard" is configured for Function Type, the configuration for these functions
cannot be changed by pressing a key of the transceiver. (Refer to
