Operating the Transceiver

Select the target Group ID by using the

The transceiver starts initiating a call.
Note
• If Call Request Tone is enabled, a Call Request Tone sounds from the transceiver when the PTT switch is pressed to initiate a call
request. Also, if Call Processing Tone is enabled, a Call Processing Tone sounds from the transceiver while the PTT switch is pressed
and held after a call request is initiated by pressing the PTT switch. (Refer to

• If PTT Proceed Tone is enabled, a Proceed Tone sounds from the transceiver when the transceiver becomes ready for

• The transceiver starts a Group Call only by a user pressing the PTT switch if the transceiver transmits on a channel with "Group Call"
configured for Selcall on PTT. In this case, a Group ID does not need to be selected by using the transceiver.
