17.2 Optional Voice Scrambler (Analog)
Optional Board Programming
Optional Board Programming is the function to change the configuration of the Voice Scrambler Board installed in the
transceiver.
The configuration of the Voice Scrambler Board can be changed by means of command communications with the Voice
Scrambler Board installed in the transceiver by using the dedicated application software.
To change the configuration of the Voice Scrambler Board, the transceiver needs to be placed in Optional Board
Programming Mode.
The transceiver can only use the COM port 0 while in Optional Board Programming Mode. Following are the
communication methods used in Optional Board Programming Mode.
Full duplex communication
Asynchronous system
Non-parity, start bit (1 bit), stop bit (1 bit), data bit (8 bits), without flow control
Baud rate (4,800 bps)

This function is unavailable for NX-200S/ NX-300S.
